Charles Fraga

President

Direct Development, Inc., was founded in 1984 by Charles Fraga. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco in 1973, he began his career as the Associate Director of Development for a social service organization in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In the mid 1980's, Charles was elected to the Board of Directors of four corporations serving constituents and customers throughout North America in the education, marketing, distribution and constituent management sectors. His ongoing business and marketing acumen is still enjoyed by those boards.

As President and CEO of Direct Development, Charles has brought his wide range of business and systems management expertise to bear on numerous client market expansion projects. His proven track record of successful consulting and project management has been the foundation of our company's long list of satisfied customers. Our clients consistently point to his attention to detail, creative ideas, and absolute dedication to customer satisfaction as pivotal factors in their decisions to continue to be repeat customers.

Patrick Clark

Senior Project Manager - West Coast Operations

Patrick Clark helped open the doors of our west coast branch in 2004 when the company expanded operations and established our Portland, Oregon, management office. Pat uses the project-management expertise that he previously honed in the education-administration and telecommunications sectors to help many DD clients experience worry-free direct mail production.

Pat specializes in managing highly complex, multi-faceted, annual direct mail programs. Our company's reputation for cost-effective turnkey services is largely due to his wealth of knowledge regarding production efficiency techniques.

Luke Glover

Luke joined Direct Development in 2006 as Director of Business Development and has contributed to both growing and sustaining the company since then. He has extensive experience servicing customers and acting as subject matter expert in various capacities. Luke brings a wide array of industry experience including publishing, technology, consulting, government and public relations. He specializes in new technology and strategy for customer campaigns.

Luke has become an expert in creative marketing, focusing on electronic mediums and designing custom campaigns for various for-profit and nonprofit clients. Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from University of Maryland University College.

Dan Kabele

Dan Kabele joined Direct Development in 2006 to lead the company's List Services team. With a background in database development and business research, Dan provided a critical solution to meet the growing needs of the company's client base. Thanks to his innovative thinking and in-depth analysis, our clients have maintained effective direct marketing and fundraising acquisition campaigns.

Dan specializes in list research and acquisition of direct mail and email lists for non-profit organizations and institutions of higher education. He also serves our clients in the B2B and B2C sectors looking to reach unique target markets. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master of Arts in Political Theory.

Carlos Fraga

Carlos Fraga has been with Direct Development since 1999 when he began as graphic artist creating artwork for direct mail campaigns. Thanks to his creative genius and unique ability to combine innovative designs with practical direct-response layouts, our clients have achieved both their communication and bottom-line marketing goals.

Carlos has extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, with a specialty for the InDesign platform. He primarily designs for printed media, and is well-versed in bridging the integration gap within a cross-media campaign. He has authored the creative look and feel for hundreds of successful direct marketing and fundraising campaigns - and for media channels including direct mail, email, campaign landing sites, and large format print.

Tony Fraga

Director of Client Services

Tony Fraga has been involved with direct response marketing for the past 10 years and is Direct Development's expert on highly personalized, cross-media marketing campaigns. He began his professional career in direct selling, and joined DD in 2005 as the Director of Sales and Marketing. He has been helping clients meet their direct marketing and fundraising goals in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, and especially in helping colleges and universities with their student recruitment and alumni development efforts.

As the Director of Client Services, Tony is involved in all of the elements that come together to execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns. Tony's specialties include direct mail, variable-data printing, campaign-specific landing sites, mobile marketing, and cross-channel integration. He regularly presents direct marketing workshops/seminars for local and national associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Virginia.

Francisco De Brey

Senior Project Manager - East Coast Operations

Francisco de Brey joined the DD team in 2005 as a Production Manager and was instantly a key player in success of our client projects. In short time he took over the management of several major DD accounts, and was largely responsible for streamlining the company's production processes as well as the development of valuable relationships with production suppliers. With a bachelor's degree in Accounting and extreme attention to detail, he saved our clients thousands of dollars on the production of their direct marketing campaigns.

In 2010, Francisco was promoted to Senior Project Manager and now oversees all client-projects managed out of our east coast office in Fairfax, Virginia. He has become known by many of our clients as an extremely reliable "go to" partner in the management and integration of direct mail and email, especially when coordinated with website and mobile marketing media.

Chris Walker

Chris joined Direct Development in 2009 as a Project Manager and quickly advanced to take on the company's ever-expanding website development and mobile marketing services. Chris's initial programming and development work helped to shape Direct Development's DirectConnect ® cross-media platform, which helps to integrate web-based marketing communications including email, PURL landing sites, SMS text, mobile marketing, QR Codes, and Social Media.

Teresa De Brey

Teresa de Brey joined Direct Development in 2011 as the company expanded its cross-media services. Teresa manages a variety of direct marketing production services and is Direct Development's specialist for editing copy for various digital media, including email, websites, mobile landing sites, SMS text, and other cross-media content.

Zach Busekrus

Interactive Media Specialist

Zach is Direct Development’s resident guru on social and interactive media. He is experienced in creating highly engaging text, image and video content for social networks and direct marketing campaigns. He specializes in short video promos used to augment an existing brand or marketing/fundraising campaign. Zach also works as a team leader for Direct MySocial®, which is DD’s team of social media marketing experts who specialize in social media strategy, content creation, and social network management for nonprofits, schools, and businesses.
