The Sisters of Charity – Halifax

THE CASE:
The Sisters of Charity-Halifax had a sensitive theme for their upcoming newsletter – their fight against Human Trafficking. This newsletter/appeal was going to be sent to both active donors and a group of non-donor supporters who had not heard from the sisters in a long time. DD came up with a design that was both highly impactful and not too edgy, appealing to the broadest range of donors and prospects without causing offense.

THE RESULT:
4,739 donors solicited; 6.3% response rate; $90 average gift; $27,000+ raised; and an overwhelmingly positive response from constituents to a sensitive but critical mission.
